CHECK-IN
3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements.
Please note the front desk is not staffed 24-hours per day, so please let us know before the date of your arrival if you will be arriving after 6:00pm to ensure you can get into the building.
CHECK-OUT
11:00 AM. If a late check-out is required please inquire about availability and any additional fees.
Smoking:
Absolutely No Smoking inside; however designated outdoor smoking areas are available.
PETS:
No Pets. Please call for help in making arrangements to board your pet nearby at Moondoggies.
CHILDREN
Sorry, but we are not equipped to accommodate children under the age of 14 years old.
DEPOSITS
100% Deposit required to confirm reservation. We do not "hold" reservations. You will receive confirmation via email.
Travel cancellation or interruption insurance is available from many reputable insurance companies which provide that coverage.
Cancellation and Deposit Policies differ for rentals of the entire inn or the cottage. Please call for details.
RATES AND MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENTS
Rates are based upon double occupancy. A two night minimum stay is required, but we occasionally waive a minimum night stay requirement based on availability. Rates/policies are subject to change and rates are higher during high time such as Fall Foliage Season and Holidays.
LIMITED SMOKING AREA AND NO CANDLES
For safety purposes, no candles are allowed in guest rooms. The only place on the property smoking is allowed is on the lower back deck of the farmhouse, rain or shine or the back deck of the cottage. Proper disposal of cigarettes butts is required. If you or anyone in your party smokes anywhere else on the property or burns a candle in a guest room your credit card will be charged a minimum $200 litter removal, cleaning and/or smoke remediation fee.
FOOD ALLERGIES AND DIETARY RESTRICTIONS
The set menus for our full breakfasts are planned in advance. If you or anyone in your party has any food allergies, restrictions or food issues please let us know when you make your reservation.
LEFT ITEMS:
Please make sure you check to see if you have all of your belongings before leaving. We can no longer mail back items that you have left. If you have left something, we are happy to hold it here for 30 days until you are able to come retrieve the items. After which we will donate said item.
Lost Keys or locks: Please be sure to return your keys/locks before you leave. We now charge $25 for each lost key and/or lock.
PRIVACY POLICY
We consider the privacy of our guests a serious responsibility. This policy declares how we will use and treat information we collect from and about you. This policy is an agreement that is legally binding. By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of information by us as specified below.
We commit with all sincerity to: never sell your information; never use your information to market our lodging to you for future stays without requiring your "opt in" and permitting your "opt out." To date, we have never performed such marketing; only collect the minimum of information as is customarily necessary to provide lodging;
only share information about you when (a) required by law or (b) required by situations that demand immediate action that are to your clear benefit (i.e., "emergencies").
Please be aware:
that you may book our lodging without using this website and if you do so you are only protected by the privacy policies of those companies providing the booking service;
that the online booking accessible on our website is provided by Wix and we do not control the privacy policy of wix; that changes to this policy will only be posted here on this privacy-policy webpage (we do not wish to invade your privacy by sending you emails about changes to the policy).
Use of Web Site
You may view and use the Mountain Laurel Farm website without disclosing any personal information. However, anonymous statistics about visits to the site and to individual pages are tracked for the purposes of better understanding our potential clientele and continually improving our service to them. This tracking of statistics may involve the use of "cookie" technology.
Guest Bookings
If you wish to reserve accommodation we will collect the personal information necessary to handle your booking. This information normally includes:
Name
Mailing address
Telephone number(s)
E-mail address
Credit card information
Information related to any need you may have for special services
We use your individual information only to communicate with you about your reservation, to process your payments, to make arrangements for your comfort and convenience while you are our guest, and to advise you about personal items you may inadvertently leave during your stay.
Retention and Safety of Your Information
Business records that contain your personal information (for example, room sales) are held for the period required by statute--during which period we will not delete your information. We keep your information in a computerized property management system. We take appropriate technical and physical measures to protect the personal data that we collect from unauthorized access or modification, improper use or disclosure, and loss or unlawful destruction.
In order to continue to serve you on future stays, we will retain your information after the statutory period. After the statutory period expires, you may request that we delete your information and we will promptly do so.
Cancellation Policy:
Mountain Laurel Farm is an exclusive family owned and operated property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 3 (three) days* prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation.
In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than three (3) days* notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund will be made less a $35 administration fee.
Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests. *A 30 day cancellation notice is required on whole house bookings and for some holidays and special events.
