A rustic farm wedding venue at the gateway of the northeast Georgia Mountains.

Mountain Laurel Farm is nestled on 21 acres in a picturesque country setting, offering a historic colonial farmhouse for smaller weddings, authentic 1880's barn for receptions and lawn with spectacular mountain views for outdoor ceremony. The Farmhouse and the Cottage contain convenient on-site lodging for up to 20 guests. The surrounding area provides numerous local attractions, additional lodging and amenities for your guests to enjoy with Alpine Helen, GA being only 5 miles away.  Many of our couples enjoy the local wineries, golf courses, waterfalls, restaurants, day spas, shopping and the southern flavor and hospitality that northeast Georgia has to offer.

  • PASSION & CONSISTENCY: We've been at this for 6 years, and we still absolutely love what we do. Our goal is to give you and your guests the weekend of your lives! Our reviews will prove it.

  • TRANSPARENCY: Our pricing is easy to understand and includes any and all fees. Nothing is complicated and nothing is hidden.

  • Payment plan (25% down will reserve your date, 3 additional payments after initial payment) or 50% down for elopements or micro-weddings). All payments are non-refundable. 

  • Professional Day of Coordinator  & Event & Cancellation insurance is Required for all events.

  • Pricing subject to change until booked.

  • Pandemics and/or (Covid-19 Virus): 

    • We will be abiding by the federal, state & local rules in regards to hosting events. At the moment: 

      • The Barn reception venue will hold no more than 50 guests max with 6ft of Social distancing to meet the current guidelines to maintain safety.

      • The Farmhouse reception venue will hold not more than 20 guest max with 6ft of social distancing to meet the current guidelines to maintain safety. 

    • The venue will be cleaned and sanitized before every special event, including tables and chairs.

    • Frequent sanitation of commonly used surfaces during special events as well as cleaning of restrooms during special events with EPA approved cleaning chemicals and disinfectant products.

    • Team members will attend Safety, Infection Control, and Sanitation Training

    • We will be asking that all vendors & team members  be screened before working your event. This includes temperature check for any staff before entering the venue.

    • We will require all caterers & their staff to follow strict infection control glove policy: freshly washed hands are for clean surface tasks and touching commonly used surfaces. Chefs and staff will wear black gloves to serve food. Staff will wear white gloves for bussing. Wait Staff  or other vendors will wear face covering and limit contact with guests as much as possible.  Will will have reduced staff.

    • Hand Sanitizer will be provided for guests, in addition to well stocked restrooms.

    • Appetizer and buffet service will be Chef served or individual portioned.

    • Wedding cake and other desserts that are not individually portioned will be Staff served.

    • Guests will be invited to the buffet by table, to allow for spacing.

    • Place setting will be pre-rolled, so flatware is not exposed

    • Bartender service will allow for distancing.

    • There will be no self-serve beverages & bottle water will be required.

    • Floor plans will be created with additional space between guests.

    • Hired Coordinators will assist with ceremony and dinner assigned seating by family/co-habitating groups.

    • Additional signage will be posted for health, safety, and social distancing protocols throughout venue.
